Piano and Clarinet lessons for beginner and intermediate students of all ages focusing on understanding musical notation and theory with the goal of creating independent musicians who can enjoy music for the rest of their lives.

Lesson Times and Makeup Lessons: Students will use this website to schedule their lessons. After the first month I can schedule an individual's lessons for them, and they will only need to use the website to notify me of an anticipated missed lesson. Lessons can be rescheduled for any reason provided that I am given at least two weeks notice.

Lesson Fees and Payments: Lessons can be paid for by either check, cash, or credit card. Students can either pay by the lesson or pay a flat monthly fee. The monthly flat fee will be equal to four lessons. For example, if a month has five weeks, the student will still only pay for four lessons. Lessons are offered in 30, 45, and 60 minute intervals and are $13, $19, and $25 respectively.

Materials: For piano lessons the text used is "Fundamental Keys" by Rachel Jimenez. For clarinet lessons the text used is "The Celebrated Method for Clarinet" by Hyacinthe Klose. Any other materials will be able to be printed for free from IMSLP (International Music Score Library Project) as needed. Students will need to either own or have consistent access to a piano, or a full-sized keyboard with weighted keys for piano lessons.
