If your car runs poorly, you take it to a mechanic. If you experience sickness in your body, you go to your doctor. But when your marriage or your life is not going well, what do you do? Why not invest some time with a relationship professional in order to improve your quality of life?
Trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I believe in coming along beside each individual to assist in navigating through the difficult seasons of life. Aware of the courage required to make an appointment with a therapist, I am careful to approach each session with respect, understanding, a listening ear and a willingness to help clear up some of the confusion.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor with the State of South Carolina, I provide psychotherapy and counseling, therapy for pre-marital and marital counseling, family and relationship issues, and life coaching. Frequently I address career, parenting and adolescent issues.
I have many years of experience as a pastor, church planter, ministry consultant and licensed financial advisor with several insurance and banking institutions. My wife Susan and I have been married for 30+ years, and we have three grown children. In my spare time, I love sports, playing music and a good laugh.
