Dr. Makedonsky practiced as an ophthalmologist in the former Soviet Union for eight years. After moving to America, he went to Berkeley Optometry school and graduated in 2003. He opened his first private practice in San Francisco in 2004 and has been helping patients there for the last eight years. He is fluent in both Russian and English.
