Psychotherapy is both an art and a science. My 20 years of clinical experience conducting psychotherapy and 6 years at Northwestern researching the process of psychotherapy guides and informs my practice. I have also been involved in training new psychologists for over a decade. Often people come to me because they are in pain. Sometimes people are aware of how they came to be in the circumstances they are in, however, often the source is not clear. Frequently people doubt that change and a more satisfying life are even possible. My job is to gently and respectfully collaborate with my clients to help them understand themselves and to facilitate changes that will enrich their relationships and their lives.
I offer Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis. I am also open to meeting or speaking briefly in order to offer referral recommendations or to assess the potential for future work together.
